An Economic Analysis of Goethe’s Faust at the 11th European Asset Management Congress
Hans Christoph Binswanger, Professor for Economics at the University of St. Gallen and doctoral advisor of Deutsche Bank Chairman Dr Josef Ackermann holds the closing remarks at this year’s European Asset Management Congress. His speech – entitled “Money and Magic – An economic analysis of Goethe’s Faust” – rounds off the congress. Under the headline “Asset Management after the Financial Crisis: Is Excessive Regulation to Follow Excessive Profits?” experts of the asset management industry will discuss investments in the context of inflation, taxes and time frame. Another topic to be analysed will be “Navigation through the Jungle of Investments” from the consumer point of view. Further speakers of the congress are, among others, Dr Rolf Banz, Pictet, Dr Jens Ehrhardt, DJE Kapital, Klaus Kaldemorgen, DWS and Friedrich Bohl, DVAG.
