Professor Michael Heise to speak at a conference on the German insurance industry
FRANKFURT EURO FINANCE WEEK
Professor Michael Heise, Chief Economist and Head of Corporate Development of Allianz SE, is giving a speech at the FRANKFURT EURO FINANCE WEEK-conference on the German insurance industry (“Versicherungsstandort Deutschland”). The conference is taking place in Frankfurt am Main on 15 November 2010. Professor Heise will also attend the following discussion on the future of the German life insurance industry. Professor Wolfram Wrabetz, Chief Executive Officer of Helvetia Versicherungen Deutschland and Representative for the Insurance Sector of the Hessian Government will moderate the discussion.
The second discussion is focussing on how functional the German health insurance scheme actually is. Speakers at this session are: Claus-Dieter Gorr, Managing Director, PremiumCircle Deutschland, Dr. Helmut Platzer, Chairman of the Board of AOK Bayern and Prof. Dr. Herbert Rebscher, Chairman of the Board of DAK.
The first discussion after the lunch break is on process efficiency in the insurance industry. Keynote speaker on this topic is Gerhard Horrion, Chairman of the Board of Roland Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG.
The closing panel discussion of the first FRANKFURT EURO FINANCE WEEK day on “Financial and Economic Concepts for Growth in Germany” rounds up the conference on the German insurance industry. Speakers at this session are: Christian Brand, Chairman of the Board, L-Bank – Staatsbank für Baden-Württemberg, Prof. Dr. Gustav Adolf Horn, Scientific Director, Hans-Böckler-Stiftung, Hans-Joachim Metternich, Credit Mediator appointed by the German Federal Government, and the Chairman of the SPD Parliamentary Group, Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
