Maschmeyer to speak at conference on the German insurance industry
Dr. h.c. Carsten Maschmeyer, Chairman of the Management Board of the MaschmeyerRürup AG, will participate in the conference on the German insurance sector on 15 November 2010 in the Congress Center Messe Frankfurt during the FRANKFURT EURO FINANCE WEEK and join a panel discussion on the future of the German life insurance sector. In the course of the day the provocative but justifiable question “How ill is the German health system?” will be followed up and – due to constantly raising competition – the invariable issue of process efficiency in the insurance sector will be discussed.
Further speakers of the conference are:
Prof. Dr. Michael Heise, Chief Economist and Head of Corporate Development at Allianz SE, Dr. Wilm Langenbach, Director and Leader Insurance & Asset Management Practice Germany at McKinsey & Company, Inc., Prof. Dr. Herbert Rebscher, Chairman of the Executive Committee of DAK – Unternehmen Leben, as well as Gerhard Horrion, Chairman of the Board of Roland Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG.
The chairman of the conference, Prof. Dr. Wolfram Wrabetz, Chief Executive Officer of Helvetia Versicherungen Deutschland and Representative for the Insurance Sector of the Hessian Government, will open this specific and up-to-date conference programme for topics of the insurance sector for the 6th time during the EURO FINANCE WEEK.
