Under the patronage of Federal Minister for Economics and Technology, Rainer Brüderle and Minister President of the State of Hessen, Volker Bouffier, the 2nd FRANKFURT GLOBAL BUSINESS WEEK 2011 takes place from 16 – 20 May.

The FRANKFURT GLOBAL BUSINESS WEEK is an annual event bundling under one umbrella around 20 conferences which all address core issues regarding the long-term competitiveness of business districts and metropolitan areas. Discussions include:

·        self-government and structure of metropolitan areas

·        urban development, mobility and energy

·        science, culture, and education

·        entertainment industry, tourism, and soccer

·        combatting economic crime

·        future of the service and health industry

·        growth perspectives for African markets
