11th EURO FINANCE WEEK

Frankfurt am Main

Under the Patronage of

A Regulatory Framework for European Finance

With more than 550 speakers and 10,000 visitors from 60 countries, the EURO FINANCE WEEK is the largest meeting point for the finance and insurance industries in Europe. In approximately 30 conferences with 150 panel discussions and expert rounds, the event provides a comprehensive overview of the topics that are currently moving the industry. Special attention is given to the integration of European financial markets as well as developments in the global financial architecture and global capital markets.

The 11th EURO FINANCE WEEK will take place from 17 to 21 November 2008 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Main topics will include Supervision within the EU-Regulatory Framework, Compliance, Risk Management, Economic Crime, Corporate Governance as well as Corporate Responsibility and Sustainable Development.

Next to the political-regulatory topics, the EURO FINANCE WEEK focuses on growth strategies for the finance and insurance industries. In 2008, the week highlights especially sustainable business models for retail and corporate banking as well as for the health insurance sector.

Complementary to the EURO FINANCE WEEK's conference programme, approximately 150 exhibitors present IT-solutions for the finance and insurance sector at the European Banking & Insurance Fair (E.B.I.F.). At the heart of the fair is the Business Solutions Forum, where IT-companies, together with their clients, present implemented best-practice solutions relating to the main regulatory and strategic topics addressed during the week. In addition, the career fair "Career in Finance Forum" addresses young talents from all over Europe and offers an overview of career perspectives in the finance industry. Human resources departments of leading financial institutions and consulting companies present their HR-strategies to students, alumni and young professionals. The career fair is accompanied by a high-level conference programme.

Traditionally, the EURO FINANCE WEEK closes off on Friday at Frankfurt's Old Opera with Europe's most prestigious banking summit, the Frankfurt European Banking Congress.

Every year, more than 200 sponsors, media partners and institutional organisations contribute to the programme of the EURO FINANCE WEEK. We would be delighted if you joined us in Frankfurt for the 11th EURO FINANCE WEEK from 17 to 21 November.
